I hope you all have a great holiday, I will miss seeing you all early in the morning and listening to all your news. You all make the start to my day a good one, you are all well behaved and enjoy playing the games and meeting your friends. Take care of yourselves, stay safe.

Snow, snow, snow!!!

January 12th, 2010

Our view from the breakfast club window is lovely, the playground is all white!
Can I remind all the children who come to the Club to enter school through the main entrance and staff car park. Just ring the bell and one of our friendly Admin staff will let you in, then walk down the corridor to a warm room with lots of games, warm food and tv.
See you there!

Hi!!!

November 12th, 2009

This week we have started creating pictures with an Autumn theme, the children have enjoyed choosing various colours related to Autumn. It has been a bit chilly this week, hopefully it will warm up soon.
Take care, Mrs Hardwick :-)

We have a few new people in the club, new to the school to, the reception children are great, they enjoy sitting with the children playing games and socialising. Love to hear from you. why not ask your parents to write something on our page, even put a joke on. See you soon, take care and enjoy the weekend.

Great news!!

February 20th, 2009

You will be glad to hear that our new equipment has been delivered to the school. Many thanks to the Friends of Davenhill who gave us £50.00 to buy new pens, glue and quite a bit of craft materials to make various objects. Look forwad to seeing you all after half-term.
Mrs Hardwick :-)

Congratulations!!

February 13th, 2009

Congratulations go to Emma Convey and Melissa Quirk who drew the winning posters in our Keep Healthy Poster competition. Miss Clarke, kindly chose the winners.  All the posters are displayed in the main corridor (by the photo-copier room), they look fantastic and really brighten up the corridor.  Watch out for the next competition!! Enjoy the half-term, Mrs Hardwick :-)

Monday morning, 2nd February 2009. After we had breakfast today, we went out onto the playground for 10 minutes to make patterns in the snow.  We all wrapped up in our wellies, coats, gloves, hat and scarves and enjoyed ourselves. Breaking news!

December 26th, 2008

Hi to all my little Breakfast Club members, I hope you are still enjoying the club.  We wrote to the Friends of Davenhill last week asking for new supplies of crayons, paper, pencils and art resources. I hope they were kind to answer out letter you all signed.

Today was ‘Blue day’, we all came into school wearing blue, (although I support Liverpool) as you all know!! We all wore blue for an excellent reason, to agree with anti-bullying in school. We do not have bullies in the Club, it is a friendly place to enjoy your breakfast, chat with all your friends and me. I love the see the juniors mixing with the infants. Well enjoy your weekend, and have a look to see if you can see yourself in the picur

Happy Holidays

August 8th, 2008

Hi to all the Breakfast Club, I hope you are enjoying your holiday, let me know what you have been up, I enjoyed my holiday in Cornwall, the weather was great the first week but it rained the second week. I didn’t mind though as I had a fab time!!! See you in September, looking forward to meeting your cousin Kieran.

Take care all, Mrs Hardwick :-)
